What It's Like to Write Music Without The Rev?

Yesterday on Reddit AMA - Avenged Sevenfold's : M.Shadows, Synyster Gates and Brooks Wackerman were answered on fans questions. One of them asked about what it's like to write new music without the Jimmy?

Synyster Gates "It's really tough not having The Rev involved in anything we do but certainly when it comes time to write a record it's brutal. We have been there with 'City of Evil' and records before when he use to proclaim 'I can't write for A7X, it's not my style' in which many of us replied, 'Make it your fuckin style!' and he responded with 'A Little Piece of Heaven' and a host of other of my favorite songs ever so yeah, brutal but we do our best to man up and write records that we hope he'd be proud of!"

M.Shadows "It's not that much of a difference really. He liked to write on his own. This felt more in line with 'Waking the Fallen' and 'City of Evil' where he would come in and just do his drum parts. He started writing heavily on the self titled record... so this felt like going back to the very beginning."
